Today is the start of our Food Bank Week. Bring your nonperishable items and leave in the bin in the Narthex.
Here is a list of items the Salvation Army is looking for:
Oatmeal – boxes of instant and bags of quick oats – any flavour
Soups – all varieties of canned, boxed and tetra packs
Soda crackers
Bars of soap
Body wash
Hand soap
Juice boxes and one litre tetra packed juice – any variety
Sugar
Large cans of coffee
Fruit cups and apple sauce cups
Sidekicks – rice or noodle
Hamburger Helper
Instant potatoes – mashed, scalloped, dehydrated hashbrowns

Kathryn Scott has emailed Council about a project that she is working on at Sambaa K’e First Nations (Trout Lake, NT) . It’s for sustainable food production and food security. There are copies of the email at the back of the church to read. Let’s get together to talk and pray about it!
